Here are a few questions that we have deemed essential in the process of realizing your dreams of building a timber frame home. We highly recommended having taking the time of reflecting on them before our first meeting. 

  • Have you chosen a location?
  • What style of frame are you interested in?
    • An elaborate frame with lots of details or a simple frame with more of a rustic look;
    • If you have not done so already, creating story board on Pinterest of styles directly or indirectly related to your timber frame
    • Saving any images you have found online of various details that you like.
  • What size would you like your home or addition to be?
  • What type of wood do you prefer?
    • White pine;

    • Oak.
  • What type of budget are you working with?
